Nubra Valley -Sand Dunes, Khardung La, camp at Summar village
The only place in India where you can spot the double humped Bactrian Camels in a desert with several kilometers of white sand dunes at over 10, 000 feet.
You need to cross over Khardung La (La is Pass in Tibetan) from Leh to reach Nubra Valley. Non-locals require an "Inner Line" permit to enter Nubra.
